The data on the site is provided AS IS. Modifications of the data and coordinates for SWITRS collision locations may be updated at any time. Although we strive for the most accurate geocoded locations, we do not guarantee all coordinates are correct and you should always review your data based on your own needs. Also, this site will only provide access to SWITRS data available within the last 11 years.
License Agreement:
The University of California specifically disclaims any warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The software provided hereunder is on an "as is" basis, and the University of California has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, updates, enhancements, or modifications.

This website and the information accessed through this website are protected as part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program and constitute and/or include reports, surveys, schedules, lists, and data which were compiled or collected for the purpose of identifying, evaluating, or planning the safety enhancement of potential accident sites, hazardous roadway conditions, or railway-highway crossings, pursuant to sections 130, 144, and 148 of Title 23 of the United States Code or for the purpose of developing a highway safety construction improvement project which may be implemented utilizing Federal-aid highway funds. Pursuant to 23 U.S.C. section 409, such reports, surveys, schedules, lists, and data are not subject to discovery or admission into evidence in a Federal or State court proceeding nor may they be considered for other purposes in any action for damages arising from any occurrence at a location mentioned or addressed in such report, surveys, schedules, lists, or data.
